Breaking in the Digital Camera
Rebecca and I have been learning how to use the Nikon when we aren’t working on the nursery or re-reading baby books. The first two targets of our photo barrage were the aforementioned nursery and a few candid shots (is there another kind?) of our dogs. Rebecca took a couple of great shots of Dakota and Madison.

One bit of feedback: You should shrink the full-size photos to 800x600. I can't fit the whole picture in my browser at once.
Also, are you using some kind of Movable Type plugin or other system to generate the galleries?
Posted by: Jamie at April 21, 2004 02:06 PMThe photo galleries are powered by Gallery Script, a tool that Chris tracked down and installed. Your feedback on the photo size has been noted. I run at 1152x864, so the photos do not scroll for me. Are they too large for anyone else?
Posted by: Dakota at April 21, 2004 02:25 PMHi Big D,
It's a voice from your past checking in again. Website looks great! It's fun to be able to follow what you guys are up to even though I'm so far away. (fyi, the photos are too large for me too)
Hope all is well!
This is a great shot of Madison.
re: photo size. I was putting all of my first ones up @ 1000px wide just like you. Until my parents (and Marla's) complained about them taking too long to download and having to scroll. I'm not putting them all up w/ 800px as the largest dimension.
