Cookin’ with Hannah

Hannah is almost always in the kitchen when Rebecca and I are preparing dinner. She is fascinated with the sounds and smells of cooking. We tried to fuel this interest by giving her a pot and a few infant-friendly utensils. I don’t think she made the connection, but she did succeed in placing every object in her mouth. Somehow the taste of a wooden spoon was far less interesting than the smell of our dinner. She is a good sport, though, and didn’t complain when we served her rice cereal.
