Captain Hannah, Defender of the Bubbles

It is remarkable what a 1-year-old child will tolerate. Rebecca thought it might be cute to use one of her shirts as a long, flowing headdress for Hannah. And it was pretty darn cute. After an hour of parading around in her new outfit, Hannah decided it was time to play with bubbles inside.

Rebecca, Hannah, and I visited the Brookfield Zoo a couple of weekends ago. It had been years since I was at the zoo. It is still the same great zoo I remembered and it was a lot of fun showing it to Hannah for the first time.

WOW! It's amazing how quickly she is changing and maturing! What a big girl she's becoming!

Babies + petting zoos = entertainment, always. San Diego zoo r00lz, though. Hehe.

She is still precious! Aw! Happy belated birthday to her, too.

OMG! Brookfield Zoo! *tears form* Did you get her one of those waxplastic statues that come out hot enough to power a small solar system? That was always the best part of the zoo. That and the dolphin shaped french-fries.

Rebecca, Hannah, and Darren,
Welcome back to Illinois. I am actually trying to post a comment (and when you left Illinois, I could barely turn on my computer!) Please keep in touch.
Lee would love to meet Hannah, and so would I. McHenry County is not that far away. By the way,
you all look great - not a year added. Keep in touch please.
