Why People Buy Pools

Rebecca has been talking about getting a small wadding pool for Hannah for almost a year. I personally didn’t see it as “must-have” item. How much fun can 4 inches of water be for a toddler, right? I figured that she would try it once, not like it, and then we would have a 4-foot plastic bowl in the garage for years to come.

As it turns out, the purple wadding pool we picked up a couple of weeks ago was the best $5.00 we’ve ever spent. Hannah loves the pool. She will happily sit in it until she is one big bundle of pruned baby flesh. She likes standing in the water, sitting in the water, falling in the water, and splashing any person or dog who wanders too near.

Too cute. And now she's officially a toddler. WOW Mom and Dad! Get another pool and fill it with sand if she ever gets bored with just water. A beach in your backyard.

Where did you purchase the pool. I would like to get one for my puppy?

We bought it at the local Target, I think. They are a season item at department stores, though, so it may be a little harder to find one now.
