Pleading the Fifth on the Fourth

This Fourth of July was one of the best I can remember. It was better than the year Rebecca and I watched fireworks from the Sears Tower Skydeck. Better than the year I saw the fireworks over Eagle Nest Lake, one of the most scenic spots in New Mexico. And we didn’t see any fireworks. Nope. We just had a barbeque with family. But the food was fantastic and the time spent with family was even better.

Unfortunately, I was so focused on enjoying myself that I forgot to pick up the camera even once during the barbeque. I did capture a few shots of Hannah before the party, however, sporting her pink-and-white ensemble. And I did capture a few shots of her quietly reading to herself, but the party will just have to live on only in our memories.


Hannah has been using her little pool almost daily, so her cousins Aleigha and Justin invited her to try their big kid pool. It looks like she had a ball. :-)
