More Fun in the Water

This week marks another bath-related milestone for Hannah. We put away the safety seat, laid down a protective pad for traction, and introduced our little girl to the world of free-range bathing. She loves being able to move around while taking a bath. I just wish we could convince her to sit down for more than 5 seconds at a time. Still, it is a good way for the entire family to get an accidental bath together.

The picture to the right was taken just before Hannah’s bath. She has discovered that she can crawl into closets, under sinks, and in a variety of other small enclosures. She wants you to then close the door so she can open it from the inside. This little trick cracks her up every time.

And speaking of water, Hannah and Rebecca have been visiting the Splash Pad at the Hickory Hills Park District. This photo set shows Hannah having a ball with Babcia following closely behind. It is hard to tell who enjoyed it more. These trips also give Hannah a great chance to visit with Babcia and Dzaidzia.

These photos were taken while we were visiting an antique fair with Grandma and Grandpa. She walked up and down the aisles, happily clapping her hands and smiling at everyone. We saw some interesting old stuff, each a lunch of thankfully new hot dogs, and I picked up an interesting old pocket watch for a song. It is hard to tell if Hannah has any real appreciation for antiques, but she did seem to love the time spent with her Grandparents.

Last but not least, this group of photos was taken during a recent visit by Hannah’s cousin Ryan. She was dancing for Ryan in her best staggered, Bill-Cosbyesque style. Flip through the photos quickly enough and you will see what I mean.
