Late Spring, Early Summer
Late Spring turns into Early Summer and the kids are getting the hang of keeping cool in Chicago. During the past 4-6 weeks, we’ve enjoyed some amazing first and fun-filled favorites from last summer. I know there are a ton of photos here, so let me break it down for you:
- Noah’s first bath in the bathtub
- Rice – First solid food
- Wet and Wild Day at the Shedd Aquarium
- Making Ice Cream with the Play & Freeze Ice Cream Maker ball
- Baby’s eye view of the world
- Lots of fun in the pool
I would recommend the Play & Freeze for anyone with young children. Mix a few ingredients, add some ice, and you can make a pint of decent ice cream in 20 minutes. It won’t replace an electric ice cream maker, but it is a fun tool that even a toddler can enjoy using Posted by Darren at July 13, 2006 08:01 PM
WOO HOO! Look at those gorgeous toes! Pretty! Thanks for the pictures...you all look great!
Posted by: Marla at July 16, 2006 02:17 PMWhoops! I'm sorry, I thought this was VOODOO EXTREME!
Posted by: George Broussard at July 19, 2006 06:12 PMhannah is growing up so fast! and i am totally going to get the ice cream maker o' doom. ice + rock salt + sugary goodness... it's worth a shot and probably cheaper than ben & jerry's. ;)
hope you're doing well out there and surviving the heat; things are pretty toasty out here in CA!
Posted by: pQ at July 21, 2006 11:16 PMoh - and what kind of camera do you have? the clarity on all your photos is fantastic.
Posted by: pq at July 21, 2006 11:17 PMBummer. There has been so much blog-spam hitting the site again that I am going to have to shut down comments for a bit.
Thanks for all of the great comments, everyone. :-)
Larissa, the camera is a 2-year-old Nikon D70 digital SLR. It is a nice pro-sumer level pacakage. The current version is the D200, I think.
