Hannah’s First Official Snowperson

The mild weather that we enjoyed in January turned abruptly into heavy-duty winter in February. I do not doubt the realities of Global Warming…but a week or two of sub-zero weather make it hard not to wish for at least a little warmer temperatures.

One of the benefits of the cold was that we finally had a strong snowfall in February. This gave Rebecca and Hannah a chance to get out in the yard and build a world-class snowman. Hannah loved it. The final product was well worth facing the cold winds and wet gloves. Noah and I were both under the weather at the time, so we could only enjoy watching the construction from behind a few panes of glass.
